The Windsurfing
| Dahab has an impressive wind record with around 300 days a year of winds between Force 4 and 7. It also has the benefit of a range of conditions to suit all levels of windsurfer. The flat water runs from the beach for 2km before you get past the protection of the sandbank and into the swell coming down the Gulf of Aquaba. |
| It is ideal for beginners, intermediates and slalom blasting. |

Sail past the protection of the sand bank and there is some much larger rolling swell with more demanding conditions. The launch from the Ganet Sinai is the best in the area and there should be no problem sailing right back to the centre. The wind is cross off-shore from the left. You can also stay upwind and sail in the lagoon which is usually a bit busier and gustier. Ganet Sinai Hotel have two centers to choose from in Dahab, the Happy Surf Station which has 2002 F2 Boards and North Sails and The planet windsurfing Station which has Fanatic Boards and Arrow Sails and they are both in the lagoon .
